Why it may not be the best idea to conceal or box up your roller shutter box?
We all know that every set of roller shutter comes with a roller cabinet or sometimes called roller shutter box located right at the top portion of the shutter.
While concealing this box may result in a set of neat and pretty looking shutter, one should not neglect or forget that regular maintenance of your roller shutter may become necessary at certain point of time.
We all know that with time, wear & tear of any shutter parts is inevitable.
Imagine that if the roller shutter box is hidden above the false ceiling or ceiling board and so happens that time calls for maintenance or any repair works of the roller shutter.
What this could mean is that since the roller shutter box is hidden, one may require to remove part of the false ceiling in order for any maintenance or repair works to commence.
This is true as roller shutter technicians will need to have sufficient access to the roller shutter box to carry out any maintenance or repair works whether minor or major.
Hence, it is advisable that roller shutter users consider their options carefully before deciding to conceal part of the roller shutter for the sake of its good looks.
When in doubt, contact your roller shutter company for advice.
