Chain operated roller shutter is a type of manual roller shutter that can be lifted or lowered by using a hand chain.
The chain operated shutters can be controlled manually by a person standing at the bottom of the shutters by pulling the chain continuously until the shutters are fully opened or closed.
Unlike chain operated roller shutters, regular manual roller shutters do not come with a hand chain and are usually lifted with the help of a pull handle or by using your hands.
Various types of Roller Shutters such as Aluminium Roller Shutters, Aluminium Roller Grilles, Steel Roller Shutters as well as Polycarbonate Multi Vision Panel Shutters can be manufactured to be chain operated.
However, for larger openings, it is usually not advisable to go for chain operated roller shutters as it may take some time for the shutters to be raised or lowered fully.
